Semi-structured Information: a Modal Logic Approach

چکیده
This paper has been inspired by 5] where the notion of a database scheme was generalised to deal with arbitrary collections of data. I propose a diierent way of describing the format of such collections of data which uses extended modal logic and compare the results to the results of 5]. In some cases an improvement in complexity and expressive power can be achieved by using the modal logic approach.
